How We Made Our Volcano

We made a volcano and we all had to bring one of the thing that we needed. I brang the dirt or sand and Miss Misela brang the vinegar, baking soda, red food colouring and a small container. Because the others forgot to brang the vinegar, baking soda and red food colouring. Then we got the dirt or sand and we added some water and we formed it into a mountain. Then we got the small container and used it to make a crater on the top of the mountain. Then we got a cup and filled it half-way with the baking soda. We got an other container and we put a small bit of vinegar

How To Make A Volcano

What you need:

sand or dirtan small eggcup or an small containervingarbaking sodared food colouring
Step 1

First you will need to get the sand ro dirt and make a mountain with it.
Step 2

Next use your fingers to make a crate in the top of the mountain.
Step 3

Fill the egg cup or small container half way full and then put it into the crate.
Step 4

Then mix the vingar and the fod colouring in a different container and then pour it into the baking soda in the crate.
Step 5

Then watch the magic happen. 

Massive Volcano Erupts In Mexico

Today the Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico has erupted, throwing ash, water and gas into the air. The eruption has made an ash cloud that reaches 2,000 metres above the volcano's crate. That’s more than five times the height of the Empire State Building in New York!. A huge crater is created on top of the volcano after the first eruption blows the top of it off.  People living nearby have been given advice about how to protect themselves from the ash.  There are more than 3,000 volcanoes in Mexico, but only 14 are considered to be active.
