Botanic Garden

Ruapotaka school went to the Botanic Gardens at the Botanic Gardens we saw the Rose Garden and different gardens. We saw different flowers and even sketched our own rose.

Ruapotaka's cross country

At Ruapotaka school we had cross country. It was a long race and we went right around Ruapotaka. It was race and everyone was very tired at the end. Fakaola came first!

Facts about Kangaroos

I learned that kangaroos are marsupials. They can't walk backwards. They live in groups called mobs. I love kangaroos but nice one. Kangaroos mostly live in Austrailain the wild or in the woodland.

About Polar Bears

I learned that polar bears are the biggest bears in the world. This is information about Polar bears, they have 42 teeth that is a lot right? Did you know that polar bears live in the Arctic in the North Pole and polar bears use their fur to camouflage in the snow. People think that polar bears look cute but they are not cute because they are dangerous.
