Hi my name is Tupou and I am in room 10 at Ruapotaka Primary school. I am 9 years old and I am the oldest granchild in my family. I feel happy to be back at school because I didn't do much at home during the summer holiday. I am enjoying swimming right now because we are learning new skills that will help us be confident swimmers in beaches, pools and other swimming places. I like maths because I learn how to use different strategies to solve one problem and when I get the answer right it makes me proud. I am excited for the rest of the year!
Ola, every Thursday's in room 9 we do show and tell, but not that much students bring show and tell to school but it is only my friend Dominic he only bring's his show and tell. Dominic bought a Tongan Kiekie and a Tongan Taovala .
Couch Declan taught us how to throw a discus, how to long jump, high jump and how to throw a shot put. We had a fun time with couch Declan for run, jump, throw. He was so cool and sometimes funny.
Rooms 9,10,11 and 12 went to the Manaiakalani Film Festival in Sylvia Park at Hoyts. We saw different school in the Manaiakalani like Tamaki College and St Pius also Ruapotaka. I enjoyed when we watched Focuser. My favourite part was when we watched room 7's film because it was so funny.
