As I sit under the tree I was watching people walk by. I found a book and opened the book, I started to read it. I kept on reading and it was very emotional. While I was reading tears kept running down my face. I stopped for a second and realized that this book was about a very sad someone that was hurting inside. While I was reading the book came to a end………. To be continued

The Haunted House On Blood Hill
It was time. Time to the explore the haunted house on top of Blood hill. I've been told many scary story about this haunted house, but I never believed any of it. Until… I had enough. So then me and my friend Chastyit decided to plan a day to visit the so called ' Headless Horseman House' on top of Blood Hill.
Once we got to the Horseman’s House we already had felt the feel that everybody else had. A sad and angry feeling. It also felt like it didn’t want us to investigate the house.

How to be a Leader
To my family they think that education is that key to a good future. If you want to know how you can get an good education then read the following paragraphs.
Being a good learner means making it to school everyday and also it means to attending school can make you get prizes in the end of the year when its prize giving. Therefore being present to school helps you with life.
Another idea is that being organized is being prepared for what you have in your classes throughout the day. To be organized, make sure to be prepared for college if your in primary meaning have a pencil or other stationary to help you with your learning.
Being a good learner means you have to behave by not talking to other students. It also means to be ready to listen and sitting up straight. For example you can in the morning when the bell rings, you go to class and you sit up straight in your desk ready for learning.
This is my explanation on how to be a good learner. I hope you've learnt something from these three ideas in my explanation. Make sure to always learn so you can be a good learner.

WALT Read Fluently
We are learning to read fluently. We have spent time looking at phrasing - how we say words together. Having expression in our voices is important too!
Listen to audio recording. We did this to practice fluency and to hear ourselves.
I think I sounded like I wasn't fluent because I feel like I didn't have any expression in my voice. I’m good at using an different charter that cause I try and put expression in my voice. I need to work on my timing because I kept on making mistakes.

Teachers Strike
This Wednesday all the New Zealand teachers are going on strike. One reason why they are going on strike is the need more time to teach the students .They have in their classes Because they spend a lot of time doing the student’s assessment but doesn't have time to teach. These things are very good but it’s hard for one teacher with thirty kids.
The second thing that the teachers want is more resources for additional needs to help the students that need help. Because when the students doesn't have enough resources than what are we gonna do to help them?. And the school’s need more teachers because one teacher can’t take care of thirty student’s.
The last thing that the teachers want is to have better pay because they always stay more than how long they have to stay at school for. Also to because they do two things at a time because they do teach and they write their reports to give to the students parents. So thats all of the reasons why all the teachers in New Zealand are on strike. Also Dliz and I agree with the teachers because they have good reasons why. We wish the teachers good luck.

Ned Kindness Adventure Show 2018
Today on the 6th of August we had someone from kindness adventure came to show us some ways to be kind.
Cosmo and Ned were talking about how being different can be good by trying new things that you don't really like but when you try new things you are introducing yourself to new things that you’ve new been around. So it’s always good to be different.
Another think that Cosmo and Ned were talking about was that being kind is cool because when you are kind to other people you are showing other people how to be kind. Also you are showing them how kind you are to everyone when you are being kind. They were encouraging us to always be kind and no matter what just be nice and kind to them.
The third thing that Cosmo and Ned were talking about was to be a person that includes everyone in the group. Including others is about when someone is alone go and ask then if they want to join you and your friends. That also means that you should always be a kind and caring person.
So that's the things that Cosmo and Ned were talking about and they were very nice and entertaining to watch act out the things they did in Kenya with the students in Kenya and in Kenya they don't even have clean water like we do so they were selling treasure from Kenya and who every buys one of the treasures the money will go to Kenya to make wiles for them to have clean water to drink, clean there close and to clean themselves.
So that's what they were talking about when they came to pt england school.

Going To Tech
Today at Tech I finished cutting out my mould. Then Mr Grundy melted some metal and he poured it into the mould. Then I had to wait for it to cool down. It took about ten minutes to let it cool down. Meanwhile I went to go and help my friend from St Pius. They were so helpful and supportive. Then finally my piece cooled down. Then it was time to stop and I only just started filling.❤

Because it's a very fast saw and I can chop off my finger. I only just finished cutting out half of it and Mr Grundy told us that our time was up.
